Planning a beach week shouldn't require a dozen browser tabs. But that's often what happens. One site for the house. Another for things to do. A few more for chairs, umbrellas, bikes or kayaks. And if you're comparing Duck against Corolla, or several possible weeks, the searching multiplies quickly.
Duner Beach is being built to make that easier. Today, Duner helps you compare things to do, find local beach-gear companies, and understand the towns you're considering. The vacation-rental search is the next piece: one search across the local rental companies Duner lists, towns and every week you could travel — with the options side by side.
Duner doesn't take the booking. When you find what you want, you continue to the company or marketplace shown in the result.

Find things to do
Search tours, cruises, lessons and other experiences for the weeks you're considering. Duner brings together listings from Viator and GetYourGuide, shows which marketplace you're viewing, and sends you there to complete the booking.
Find beach gear
Search local companies by town, equipment and service — chairs and umbrellas, bikes, kayaks, baby gear and more. Duner doesn't take the reservation or show stale rental prices. You contact or book with the company itself.
Choose the right town
Duner's town guides are built for the decision that comes before the house: where should we stay? Compare beach access, walkability, atmosphere and the practical differences that can make one town a better fit than another.

What we believe
Duner doesn't take the booking
Duner helps you search and compare. The transaction happens with the company or marketplace shown in the result — never with Duner. For vacation homes, that will mean booking directly with the local rental company that manages the home. For experiences, you complete the booking on Viator or GetYourGuide. For beach gear, you contact or book with the company itself.
Say what the number means
A price isn't useful if you don't know what it represents. Vacation-rental rates will distinguish base rent from all-in pricing. Experience prices identify whether they're per person, vehicle, boat or group — and which marketplace published them. Beach gear shows no prices at all, because local rates change too often for Duner to keep them reliably current; every result sends you to the company for its own pricing.
Be clear about the source
Beach-gear listings are checked against the companies' own websites and show when they were last reviewed. Experiences name the marketplace behind every listing and when its pricing was checked. Duner doesn't crawl around anyone's terms of service, and any company that prefers not to be listed is removed — no questions asked, and we confirm by email and take the listing down. The company or marketplace handling the transaction is always the source of truth for current availability, price and terms.
Local where local matters
Beach houses and beach gear are deeply local businesses, and Duner is built to make those local companies easier to find — not to replace them. Experiences work differently: tours and activities are often sold through marketplaces, so Duner compares the marketplace options and tells you exactly where you're going to book. Different parts of a beach trip work differently. Duner doesn't force them into the same model.
Why I built this
Duner started the way most useful things do — with personal frustration. I'm a vacationer, not a rental company: I've spent the evenings clicking through site after site, re-entering the same week, trying to hold a dozen prices in my head. So I asked 96 other beach-house renters if it was just me. It wasn't — the complaint I kept hearing, almost word for word, was that no single site puts all the options in one place.
That started with houses. But planning the trip doesn't stop once you've chosen one. You still need to decide what to do, where to rent the gear, and sometimes which town you should be staying in to begin with. So Duner grew into the site I wanted to use for the whole beach week.

Independent, by design
Duner Beach is independently built and owned — not owned or controlled by a rental company, equipment-rental company, tour operator or booking marketplace.
Duner does take part in affiliate programs: on the experiences search, booking links go to Viator and GetYourGuide, and Duner may earn a commission if you book after clicking one. That doesn't add a separate Duner fee to your purchase, and compensation doesn't buy a better position in Duner's results. Beach gear is different: Duner takes no commissions from the companies in that directory, and no company pays to appear or to rank. The same goes for what we write — our town guides carry no sponsored picks and no affiliate links. No company gets to buy Duner's opinion.
It also means the site has nothing to gain from watching you. Duner does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, there are no accounts, and a shared search link carries your search — the weeks, the filters and the stars — never your name or anything that identifies you.
None of this asks to be taken on faith. The site scans A+ on securityheaders.com; as of August 2026 its home page scores a perfect 100 on desktop — performance, accessibility, best practices, and SEO — and 99 on mobile, on Google's public page-quality audit; and an independent monitor watches its uptime around the clock on a live public status page. Three checks, none of them ours to grade — anyone can look, any time.
